A Shocking Experience

So as you may know I have a boyfriend. And I'm sorry for those that I may be corrupting when I say this, but USUALLY when you have a significant other you... (those with weak stomachs please stop reading NOW) you... KISS.
And as my quote on my page says something like, that you just gotta recognize the experiences that make the good stories or whatever. So finally when i was telling my friend a story about kissing I realized it was quite a different experience.
It was the BEST date I had ever been on, on that 20th day of Oct. It was cold and rainy, but Jared and I made the best of it and had a GREAT time at the outdoor mall. While we were there he helped me pick out a very VERY nice cute coat. It was fancy and way to expensive for me, but it was cute and had the fleece layer you can take out and pockets and it just felt amazing! I say that it was made for me. I pretty much loved it from the moment it slipped onto my body.
So after purchasing the overly expensive beautiful black beauty, I put it on and wore it proudly.
Later we got some dinner, at a very busy place, but it was soooo good. Because it was so busy we had to park quite a little ways away. It was all wet and cold and sprinkling and when we got to the car we went in for the... KISS. But oh no, this was not any USUAL kiss. It was very special in fact! (i wish that i could make this sound like some trashy romance novel could)
As the rain fell upon our faces and all thoughts of my cold nose and wet hair left me; our faces neared until my eyes closed as to fulfill a fantasy and as our lips first touched I was not greeted with the softness of his lips, but rather a horrific, Strong electric shock!
That's right! So we laughed and shrugged it off and went to kiss again but this time was worse! and it shocked not only my top lip, but my front teeth as well. And actually really hurt for being just a little electricity. Knowing that it was impossible to have both been struck by lighting twice , we finally came to the conclusion that it was my nice new coat! the Fleece layer was causing me to have a ton of static electricity, and then combine that with the rain and the sensitivity of lips it was painful. Kissing was prohibited until I made the choice to let my prized coat be removed from my body.
Needless to say, it really was A Shocking Experience!!!

Great minds DO think alike!

So Jared and I got into a cute conversation about the book "The 5 Love Languages". ( I'm finding that he is a very smart boy about these 'cute' or 'sweet' type things that every girl knows about, but guys usually just ignore. Anyways, I told him I found a test online for the 5 love languages and we both took it. And these were are results, kinda scary similar.

Here is the site too if you and your significant other want to take it!

Tagged but with not much to say

Now that Katie has tagged me i know i can't just ignore it... because I'm sure she checks up on my blog more often than I have anything to say. So here goes....

The first is: PAYING JOBS I HAVE HAD SINCE HIGH SCHOOL
1. Well, I used to babysit for people whenever they asked... whether that be my mother or the neighbors. And the Jones! and their 5 kids under 10! that was crazy but they were so fun!
2. And the one job that I have had my whole life at Apache for my dad. It all started the summer that I turned 8 until I just now stopped working there because i moved. That is 12 years of cleaning bikes and computers/phones, picking up trash, inventory in the parts department (before they had AC!), pack sheets, commissions, i pod stuff, cashiering, and then just random things.
3. EFY COUNSELOR! Which was just so much fun! It really was the greatest job not for the pay... oh no. The pay sucks, but the rewards and the experience is unique in itself! It was so much fun to get to know those kids and to see them grow in the gospel!

The second is: 6 RANDOM FACTS ABOUT MYSELF
1. I love to play video games. Especially Halo with my brother. and many times I become OCD about winning and finishing :)
2. I have a LOVE for Grey's Anatomy. Yes, I cried last season when Meredeth died! It is the drama and plots, not the realistic'ness' that makes it so good! Thursday nights at 8. or on abc.com after midnight you can watch the full episode for free!
3. In high school i was quite strange... I had a weird style consisting of bright orange pants, princess laya hair, converse with writing all over them, spaghetti strap shirts over plaid button up shirts, boy shorts (literally from the boys section of the clothing department), wearing glasses what i did not need (and infact kinda made me feel sick), shorts with long colorful knee socks, elf hats, scrubs, and short short SHORT running shorts with slits up the side of them too... but other than real clothes you can count the 'hairy pickle' mascot outfit, the surgical gown, glove and mask outfit I sported one afternoon, and a newspaper hat. Hmmm... i was so WEIRD!
4. I want to be a nurse (as you may already know) and I can handle poop and vomit and a variety of body fluids and i am fine, but when someone spits... I gag. SPIT IS NASTY! It must have been in 8th grade when at water world and i was standing under a tower and some guy spit a luggy and it landed right on my head. SICK DOG! ughhhh i am getting sick feeling right now!
5. I have a new calling in the church to be a visiting teaching supervisor and it makes me so excited.
6. I got mad once... yes only once in my life... but really i got mad when i was at lazor quest at this little kid. WHY? other than the fact that he kept shooting me, he started saying things about "my mom" in that old school style of 'your mom...' But these things were NOT cool things to say and laugh about. So I ummmm... defended moms everywhere and shoved him against the wall and told him what he needed to hear. woops. i must have forgotten the rules that you say at the beginning of the match "i will not have any physical contact with other players". I was just luck that he did not get mad at me after and tell his BIG father. it was funny to see all his friends cower away from me! "MARSHAL"

Only 10 more days... counting today!

Only 10 more days (counting today) until I come and visit good old Arizona and all my pals! But in the mean time i told kate that i would make a chain representing each day! So i grabbed my limited supplies of scissors, markers, and staples and created a masterpiece! What a life i have right now... hahaha. So cool, all i do now is study and make cool chains. Oh the life of a BYU student!
I'm coming home soon Katie! Don't worry it will be sooner than you know!

I just wanted to let Kathryn Nicole to know that I LOVE her! She talks to me and gives me advise about pretty much everything. Oh how, oh how i miss that dear girl! I am making a paper chain to count the days until i get to see her at thankgiving! I know that I could talk to her about pretty much anything and about anytime. :) Thank you sooo much Katie. I love you Honey! I will get pictures of the chain as soon as i am done!

Today was a Good day!

Today was a great day? Why you may ask. Let me tell you. Today I got the courage 'from somewhere' to go to the Provo Temple all alone. It was defiantly a good experience. I just was unsure of how things work, but a sweet girl that came in at the same time as me helped me out. It was really good and I suppose that i will go often, I really enjoy it, I have time, I have a recommend, it is SUPER close, and it makes me feel good inside. I really am happy that I got myself to go all alone to a new and different place. In fact, just going alone made it a really good experience I went just for me because i wanted to! :) What a good day. I can't what for the 'eventual' day that I will get to do everything. I'm so excited. Just thought I would share my good day with everyone!

My Conclusion: Don't be scared to do good things even when you are physically alone, you're Never completely alone.

A trip to Target

So today, i decided (against my better judgement) to go to target. You would think that I would learn my lesson and avoid that place because NO MATTER WHAT I always spend WAAAAAAYYYY to much! (At least more than i should i'm not living on the street... yet.)
But I was not there in vain! I needed to get a heater, which i got, and in fact i got some lovely boots. And in the process of finding these wonderfully on sale boots (that are not in black :(gah...) I made a friend with an old lady.
She just started talking to me... and asking how I thought the shoes she was trying on looked. And then commented on the boots i was trying on and decided to try some too! and then when I said that they were too small she started looking for boots for me and her!!! She was so funny because she started trying on REALLY REALLY high heels boots that were shiny and well... reminded me on something that you would see on the street, and then was telling me to try the same pair on. She was really sweet and it was fun to go to target and make a friend!

My Conclusion: I will forever be in style! Me and the old ladies just have the same awesome fashion!

New Mexico!!!

Yeah for Jared!!!
other than the fact anyone and everyone that talks to me might be getting very tired of me talking about this wonderful man, but what better person to talk about???
Jared just got his first interview to New Mexico!!! I am so happy for him right now, and proud too! What a better time for an invitation to come?! The night before we had been talking about interviews and how nervous he was, and what would happen if no one interviewed him, and just lots of worries he had with people around him getting interviews. But now he is no longer in that group of people! He really never ceases to amaze me! Good Job Jared!
And Kate, I have already thought of it... we could both end up in New Mexico and then we could and would cause havoc! I'm excited! LOL!

Halloween!

So this halloween was great! I haven't had so much silly fun at BYU since I got here, but that ugly rutt ended as of October 31st. When the day started I had no plans for halloween, but to do a usual and head to the library and study... woohoo!...
But during the day one of my friends in two of my classes... Hali decided to give me an invite to her mulit-stake halloween party at the wilk. So... after a short internal debate I decided yes! So we all scrounged up some colorful outfits and crazy hair dues and when as 80's people. I pray my children will never see these pictures, but it was a blast.
We went with Hali's roommates and participated in a mummy race, ice cream dropping... woops! Sorry Hali's eye and face!... and then a Donut eating contest of which I totally won!!!!
After we left the party sugar-high we did Disney Karaoke and sang song together including "ill make a man out of you" and "I won't say I'm in love". I was great fun and I met lots of potential friends too! Overall, it simply was a great night at BYU. :)
